David Dachinger

Fire Lieutenant (Ret), Meditation Teacher, Podcast Host

David Dachinger has enjoyed concurrent careers in emergency services, music, and meditation. Last June, David retired from the fire department as a Lieutenant with over 20 years of service, certified in technical rescue and fire instructor.

Over 1 billion people have heard David’s award-winning music on CBS broadcasts of the Superbowl, the Masters, March Madness, the PGA, and the NFL.

David is a survivor of Stage-4 head and neck cancer. Treatment included chemo, radiation, and surgery. Turning to meditation, yoga, positive affirmations, and physical movement, David found calm, peace, and ease in the middle of his cancer chaos. After remission, along with his wife Tamara Green, LCSW, David co-founded the Loving Meditations App and authored the bestselling book, Live Calm With Cancer (and Beyond…).

Through Loving Meditations, David & Tamara help people feel better immediately, and effortlessly. This approach is currently in use with cancer patients, first responders, the Veterans Administration, and prisoners/parolees in Los Angeles.

David hosts the Responder Resilience Show and co-hosts Peaceful Oasis Live! with Tamara.
